A Rather Blustery Day.

Okay wind, I'm bored of you now. Not only have you been causing absolute mayhem all over the country for weeks now, you're also going to be following me by hitting England while I'm there over the next week. Please, go away. You're wrecking my hair.

Tantallon Castle.

I hate heights. I once attempted to make it to the top of the Eiffel Tower, but after getting out of the first of two elevators, I clung to the girders and found myself unable to move, so convinced was I that a structure that had stood for over 100 years was going to spontaneously collapse beneath me. So why did I ever think that combining heights, a steep spiral staircase in a ruined castle, and the windy gusts of Storm Gertrude would be a good idea?!

St Bridget's Kirk.

Where does one storm end and another begin? The last few days, the weather here has been horrendous. Turns out that was Storm Gertrude battering down upon us, but now she's cleared off and Storm Henry has taken over. I don't really understand the difference; all I know is that it's been very windy, very rainy and very cold for days now. Just to put it into context, that photo above? It's in colour.
