A Guide to Lush Fresh Face Masks.

As I've mentioned before, I am obsessed with Lush Cosmetics. Like, really obsessed. My bedroom looks a bit like a stock room with multiple boxes of bath products in them - which is terrible for my bank balance, but does make the room smell amazing. While I'd used Lush bath bombs and bubble bars fairly regularly, it did take me a little longer to dive into the world of skincare. And like many people, there was one area that grabbed my attention first: the fresh face masks.

Wemyss Caves.

Sometimes getting lost and going to the wrong place is actually a benefit. We crossed over the water to explore the coast of Fife, and to find the Wemyss Caves. Turns out they are near the village of East Wemyss, whereas we'd parked up in West Wemyss...

Vogrie Country Park + Tyninghame Beach.

This week has been horrible. We had to say goodbye to our family cat, Mindy, after 16 years together. As much as some people will think "It's just a cat", this feeling utterly sucks. So today I thought it was important to put up a post from a day where I felt the complete opposite of how I feel right now.

Falls of Clyde.

When the sun comes out in Scotland, you cannot take it for granted. Buchanan Castle + Loch Lomond.

First things first - I really wouldn't recommend venturing inside a ruined castle, particularly one that has signs warning you off. Just do what I did, and let your slightly mental husband break in instead...

St Andrews.

This blog is starting to make it look like all I do is visit ruined old churchy-type buildings, but I swear I do more with my life! If you can make it through the next few posts then I'm actually going to be making some changes to the content of my blog, but I'll get into that some other time. Today I wanted to share some pictures of a very chilly day out in St Andrews.

Salisbury Cathedral.

My father's side of my family come from a very beautiful part of England. He grew up in a tiny little village just inside of the New Forest, and my brother and I were very lucky to spend multiple holidays in the counties of Wiltshire and Hampshire. My dad went to school in the closest 'big' town, Salisbury, and it's always been a place I've loved visiting.

Bath.

In terms of architecture, the small but perfectly formed city of Bath is probably one of the most beautiful places in the UK. One of the first buildings we saw was this beautiful abbey above. We didn't manage to make it inside, but it set the bar pretty high. Any city that has World Heritage Status is going to be a good 'un...
